Free Fire OB47 Character Adjustments: Ryden Gets a Major Buff while Lila is Nerfed Down
Known for tweaking character abilities with every update, Garena Free Fire has once again made adjustments to ensure balance or to challenge players to rethink their strategies.
The Garena Free Fire OB47 update has arrived along with a set of changes that are pretty much changing the meta. Known for tweaking character abilities with every update, Garena has once again made adjustments to ensure balance or to challenge players to rethink their strategies.
Lila: Vehicle Counter Becomes Vehicle Stopper
Lila now boasts so much power that she is a total nightmare for players who over-rely on their cars in ranked matches. Earlier Lila could reduce the speed of a vehicle by 50% while attacking it with a rifle but in the current patch, this has been made 80% of a weapon's attack speed, effectively stopping the vehicle in it's tracks.
Nairi: A Healer's Nerf
Nairi's ability to strengthen the durability of Glue Wall and heal 10 HP per second for 3 seconds is nerfed down to just 2 seconds to make the healing have an impact of only 20 HP instead of 30.

Ryden: Twice the Power
Ryden’s unique crab ability has received a significant upgrade. Previously, players could use the ability only once. Now, it can be used twice, allowing immobilize multiple opponents in quick succession.
Tatsuya: A Slight Delay
The dash is an ability Tatsuya can use twice during a cool down. However, they've added a restriction on how it can be used- after using one dash, players must wait 5 seconds before they can use the second.
Discounted Top-ups
The upgrade also offers a surprise to players who would like to top up diamonds at reduced prices.
While some players appreciate the buffs, others are frustrated by the nerfs, particularly Nairi and Tatsuya. Garena encourages players to provide feedback, so if you’re unhappy with the changes, you can give feedback to the developer.
