Clash of Clans popular "Hammer Jam" event is back, tempting players with their time-skipping boosts. But where do Builder and Research Potions stand compared to Hammers when it comes to efficiency? Builder Potions vs. Hammers in CWL Shop
Typically, Hammers are an every-day purchase in the Clan War League shop for players looking to upgrade buildings or troops that take 12-16 days. At 120 CWL medals, every Hammer saves 288–384 hours of time-saved value which is impressive.
In Hammer Jam, though, Builder Potions offer better value. Normally providing 54 hours in six Builders, due to the event's speed boost, every potion now provides 108 hours. At 30 medals each, four Builder Potions cost as much as a Hammer and provide 432 hours - one which far, far surpasses Hammers for any player below Town Hall 15. The addition of the Goblin Builder will only extend these positive benefits, making Builder Potions a good choice for fast base advancement.

Research Potions in CWL and Raid Medal Shops
Research Potions, which previously had 24 hours of lab time, now have a total of 48 hours of Hammer Jam. At 20 CWL medals apiece, players can buy six Research Potions for 120 medals, that's 288 hours. The Goblin Researcher bumps this up to 96 hours per potion, adding up to 576 hours of research time-good luck and better than Builder Potions and Hammers.
Research Potions are the best Star Ores available in the Raid Medal Shop, especially for Town Halls 10 to 16. While Star Ores will trim some time off, it still beats Research Potions when comparing efficiency with boosts from the Goblin Researcher.
