Destiny 2’s Street Fighter 6 collab brings iconic moves and gear like Blanka helmets, Chun-Li Ghost shells, and Ryu Hadoken finishers.
Bungie officially revealed a super exciting new crossover: Street Fighter 6-inspired cosmetics are coming to Destiny 2. Reveal : The collaboration launches on November 19, bringing in fresh gear that celebrates Capcom's classic fighting game. In keeping with the lines of incorporating popular franchises in Destiny 2, this will be terrific for both fan bases involved.
The Street Fighter x Destiny 2 Crossover
It includes a selection of in-game items, from:
- Universal Helmet Ornament, Blanka: Inspired by the primal Blanka, this universal helmet ornament can be used by any class. Fans will surely love it since it is similar to the masks in the Festival of the Lost event of Destiny 2.
- Ghost Shells with Street Fighter Theming: Chun-Li, Ryu, and Cammy White Ghost shells add fighting spirit to the player's companion.
- Finishers & Emotes: Three new finishing moves based on Chun-Li's spinning bird kick and lightning kicks, and Ryu's signature Hadoken fireball now are part of the Destiny 2 arsenal. Emotes include a unique group emote that mimics a Ryu vs. Blanka battle with health bars and another referencing the Street Fighter bonus stage, swapping the traditional car with a vending machine.
Bungie's Collaboration Trend
In the past 12 months, Bungie has added many cross-over cosmetics to Destiny 2, capitalising on franchises such as The Witcher, Ghostbusters, Assassin's Creed, and PlayStation exclusives, including God of War and Ghost of Tsushima. This also demonstrates Bungie's strategy in broadening reach through the implementation of popular pop culture concepts.

More to Come in Act 2
Beyond Street Fighter gear, Act 2 holds even more important updates to Destiny 2:
- Weapon Drops & Perks: Bungie will be addressing the problems that currently surround weapon perks, by opening special god-roll weapons at Banshee-44 to all players, including Indebted Kindness and VS Chill Inhibitor.
- Loot in Vesper's Host Dungeon: Within the loot drop of the Vesper's Host dungeon, players will find that duplicates are doubled, giving the players more chances of reaping high-tier weapons and armour.

Dripping in nostalgia and innovation in equal measure, this partnership allows Guardians to express their fandom for Street Fighter as they dive into new content in Act 2. Fans are looking forward to 19 November when they can don the Blanka-inspired helmet, hit their flex points with the help of Chun-Li Ghost shells, and land a Hadoken finisher in the Destiny universe.
