Is Clash of Clans Prepared for the Newest Town Hall Level and Even a Fifth Hero?
The community surrounding Clash of Clans continues to get increasingly worked up after two in-depth question-and-answer sessions so far this year on Reddit pointed to big updates being right around the corner. Teasers from Supercell revealed that Town Hall 17 may be within a drop, full of large alterations to include a built-in defence system and potentially fifth hero. Gamers remain left to ponder what there may be concerning gameplay or game balance with an update like this.
New Town Hall and Integrated Eagle Artillery
Confirmed Changes: Town Hall 17 will end the pattern of replacing the Giga Inferno with an integrated Eagle Artillery. The Eagle Artillery upgrade is known to be a game-changer, devastatingly powerful, and this new Town Hall might be one of the game's most powerful assets.
Power Balance Issues: The update introduces an issue of balance since some of the players are afraid that Eagle Artillery at the Town Hall might be too powerful. Supercell, however, had been given a nod by players that the balancing changes would not let this overwhelm the attackers.
Map Size Issues
Less Space: With Town Hall levels and designs increased, more available map space was sacrificed. For most players, this has since been an argument that the map could just be expanded. In fact, Supercell countered that it is not so because of the shorter times for attacks and modifications made to the layout.
Potential Solutions: Supercell can remove some buildings, merge some structures, or transform some buildings as they did in earlier updates when they decided to merge Barracks. Fans are speculating that storages or collectors may be removed or changed to make space.

Introducing a Fifth Hero
Hero Limitation: Supercell had hinted at a fifth hero but stated that players would still be unable to have more than four heroes per attack. The game may include a hero selection system, in which a decision is made on which four must go out each time to level the gameplay.

Community Reactions
Some people are excited at the idea of having a fifth hero, while others fear that it would be too much for an attack. The selection system was already proposed by some prominent creators, such as Judo Sloth, and the concept has been well-received because it could bring in strategic depth without making gameplay overwhelming.

Eagle Artillery in the Town Hall? Finally, now there's a real challenge for them!
-
Not expanding the map will work, but they should now come up with nice stuff to make room in order to fit it all on!

A fifth hero may be great, providing you limit its use-this needs to be balanced!
The much-awaited update looms near, so fingers are crossed that Supercell will deliver and, above all, hold that Clash of Clans pride.
The Town Hall 17 update has created a mixture of excitement and apprehension in the community. People fear that such changes could upset the scales of balance, but history has already proven that Supercell's incremental updates are cautiously tested. Therefore, after adjustments for map space and hero management, Clash of Clans seems all set to face the challenge head-on and maintain the dynamic balanced experience for loyal fans.
