COD BO6 Zombies: Easter Eggs, Dragons, and the Mystery of Citadelle

On December 12th, Black Ops 6: Zombies will release a new map Citadelle Des Morts which was revealed as an easter egg at the end of the Terminus Storyline. The new map will be individual and won't be a part of the new warzone map but the location will be in the vicinity of the new warzone map called the Principality of Avalon

At, the end of the easter egg storyline gives hints at what the new map might be like with an X post over the weekend.  

Details of the New Map

With the release of the new map by an image from Treyarch many fans wanted to find the real-life reference of the Map, that is the Carcassonne. It is a wrench citadelle from the Toulouse. When both images are compared the map will have a foggy environment, with a lot of levels with many stairs and ziplines to make it easy to traverse the map.

The map teaser and the real-life image have a bridge that might look like the player might have to unlock the bridge to access the keep and venture deeper into the map and further progress the storyline from Terminus & Liberty Falls.

Expected Storyline Details of the New Map:

With the hints from the easter eggs from both the maps from the zombies expansion of BO6. this new map will be a convergence of Choas, Vanguard & Requiem Storylines. Liberty Falls teases that Choas dimension and existence of Prima Materia. Termius Map teases the existence of Sentinal artifacts with elder gods from Vanguard. The game teases the zombie expansion with Ava Jansen visiting liberty falls while researching dark weather rifts.

Apart from this another hint of what the storyline and easter egg might be can be derived from the tile-based board game called Carcassonne. The same place the new map derives inspiration from. The hint comes from one of its expansion packs called The Princess and The Dragon. And Black Ops 3 zombies easter egg fights with Dragon. Thus pushing fans and players of the game that the new map will have a very exciting Dragon boss battle.

New additions along with Map release

The new map along with its release adds these new additions to the game mode:

• New Perk-a-Cola: Many fans want double tap or widow’s wine, but Treyarch has confirmed that they won't be coming back as a perk. The most expected perk might be Electric Cherry.
• New field upgrade:The new field upgrade might be a surprise for players, with the BO6 release players got to experience a new field upgrade called shadow blast and it has become a fan favorite with its release. 
• 18 New Augments: Nine Major Augments and Nine Minor Augments.
• 3 New Gobble Gums:
• New Hand Cannon Support Weapon: At present there aren't much details how the scorestreak from multiplayer works in zombies, as treyarch is slowly releasing updates day by day only as the release date closes we can find details about it.
• New Wonder Weapon: One obvious wonder weapon that many fans found in the game files is Ray Gun MK II. while the other hint from the game's files is the existence of four variants of Wonder weapon. Thus creating speculation that the new wonder weapon might have variants like the elemental staffs from BO2 & BO3, the Apothicon Swords from BO3, and the Wrath of Ancients from BO3. while the players can pick up staffs and swords of different elements of their own choice by completing a part of the easter egg storyline. But with Wrath of Ancients, the player has to buy ammo mod for the weapon to use the multiple variants of it.
• New enemy Type: While playing the campaign, there is a mission called ‘Emergence’ where the player plays in a zombies-infested amp to survive and progress in the campaign. That mission has two elites who haven't made their appearance in the zombies mode. But with the hints from the map image and its name, the most appropriate elite based on this is Mimic as Mimic is the most famous monster of the Dungeons and Dragons. The map has the environment and setting that are prevalent in fantasy settings we can concur it is Mimic the new enemy type.
