Black Ops 6 Season 1 kicks off soon, with exciting new content like maps, weapons, a Battle Pass, and Warzone integration. Get all the details on what’s coming!
The hype for Black Ops 6 is real, and while the game officially drops on October 25, 2024, the real action won’t kick off until Season 1 arrives. Expect tons of new content like the first Battle Pass, new maps, weapons, and a Warzone integration. But when exactly can we expect it? Let’s dive into all the juicy details!
When Does Black Ops 6 Season 1 Start?
Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 14, 2024! That’s when Black Ops 6 Season 1 is set to drop, according to some emails that came out as part of a Little Caesars promotion (yep, pizza and Call of Duty). Although the devs haven’t officially confirmed this date, it’s the best info we have for now.
Usually, new seasons hit on Wednesdays, so this Thursday launch would be a little different. Plus, the current in-game Battle Pass timer for Modern Warfare 3 Season 6 shows it ending on November 6, which could mean a small break before the Season 1 action kicks off in Black Ops 6.
Will There Be a Pre-Season?
Yep, there will be a short pre-season period between the launch of Black Ops 6 and the start of Season 1. So while the game drops on October 25, you’ll have some time to gear up and explore before Season 1 and the Warzone integration roll out.
What About Warzone Season 1?
Warzone Season 1 will go live on the same day as Black Ops 6’s Season 1 (November 14, 2024). This update will bring a brand-new map called Area 99, along with all the fresh weapons, Operators, and Omnimovement from Black Ops 6. Oh, and for all you competitive players, Urzikstan Ranked Play is finally arriving shortly after the update!

• Vanguard: Launched November 5 – Season 1 arrived December 8 (after a slight delay)
• MW2: Launched October 28 – Season 1 arrived November 16
• MW3: Launched November 10 – Season 1 dropped December 6
Black Ops 6’s Season 1 seems to be in line with the three-week window after launch, so we’re expecting plenty of time to get ready for the new season!
