PS Plus Games Being Removed in January 2025; It Takes Two, Resident Evil 2 & More

PS Plus subscribers every month have a list of a few games where they can play for free for along with many other benefits offered by the Sony entertainment 

There are three tiers of PS Plus subscription on the PSN Store for the players to buy. They are essential, extra and premium. Subscribers based on which subscription they have signed up for get a set of games they get to play free for a certain duration.

Total of 14 games are leaving the PS Plus store for players to play for the users.

List of Games leaving by January 2025

1. PS Plus Extra: leaving by 6th January 2025

   • It Takes Two (PS5, PS4)

   • Temtem (PS5)

   • Aliens: Dark Descent (PS5, PS4)

2. PS Plus Essential: leaving by 14th January 2025

   • Resident Evil 2 (PS5, PS4)

   • Dragon Ball FighterZ (PS5, PS4)

   • Life Is Strange (PS5, PS4)

   • Life Is Strange: Before the Storm (PS4)

   • Just Cause 3 (PS4)

   • Just Cause 4 (PS4)

   • Hardspace: Shipbreaker (PS5, PS4)

   • Pure Hold'em (PS4)

3. PS Plus Premium: leaving by 14th January 2025

   • Legend of Mana (PS4)

   • Secret of Mana (PS4)

   • Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection (PS4)

Playstation players with an essential tier of subscription can add the free game to the library and play the game whenever they wish too. When these games leave the essential users have the games added to their collection permanently until they have the subscription active.

While the players with Extra and Premium have to make the most of the games before they leave the store for them to play for free. The present list of games are from the EU PSN store they may vary from the local PSN store database. So, do check out our respective store.
