Wild Hearts: How to unlock weapons
Step-by-step guide to unlock all weapons including the Claw Blade, the Hand Cannon, and the Karakuri Staff.
Wild Hearts has a variety of weapons available at disposal for players to take on the various Kemono (beasts) in the game. While the Karakuri aids players in combat, the weapons are crucial to defeat the powerful Kemono roaming in Azuma.
At the start of Wild Hearts, the player's only available weapon is the Karakuri Katana, which is both flexible and potent enough to be used throughout the game. However, it is recommended to unlock additional weapon types at the earliest opportunity.
You'll be able to build a forge in your camp soon after meeting Natsume the Blacksmith, which you can use to create new weapons. The Kaduchi, the Bow, the Maul, and the Bladed Wagasa are the four additional weapons you can choose from. But you won't be able to use the other three weapon slots.
How to unlock weapons in Wild Hearts
You must finish Chapter 1 of the tale in Wild Hearts in order to access all of the game's weaponry. To finish Chapter 1 and unlock the remaining weapons, follow these steps:
- Defeat the Kingtusk to access Minato.
- Travel to Natsukodachi Island and defeat the Spineglider.
- Defeat the Lavaback and the Gritdog.
- Complete the mission involving the Earthshaker.
- Speak to Natsume after the festival at Minato
You'll be able to craft the three new weapons at the Forge after speaking to Natsume. The three new weapons are the Claw Blade, the Hand Cannon, and the Karakuri Staff.
Omega Force, developers of the game, said they’ll be adding new weapon types to the game when they’ll roll out free content updates for Wild Hearts. The first Wild Hearts content update is scheduled for March. Until then, these are all the weapon types available in the hunting game.
