What is currently known about Calling animated short?
To provide fans with a quick preview of Calling, Blizzard also unveiled a 45-second teaser trailer alongside the announcement. In the first scene of the teaser, a man questions Sojourn at her house and verifies that she is, in fact, Vivian Chase, the former Overwatch ranking captain.
A representative from the International Justice Commission inquires as to Sojourn's compliance with the Petras Act, which declared any Overwatch activity to be unlawful and subject to legal penalties.
Before cutting to a scene of a masked vigilante fighting CSIS agents, the questioning takes place over the course of some sort of crime scene investigation involving significant interior building damage.
Sojourn responds that she “doesn't know what to tell [him]” when the agent asks her to explain her “whereabouts last night.” The end of the trailer features a quick glimpse of Murphy, Sojourn's cute dog, about to steal her croissant from the table while she is being questioned. Fans of Sojourn should definitely see the full premiere of Calling on August 4 by logging into Overwatch 2, as there will undoubtedly be much more in store.
