Krafton to bring teammate recall feature in PUBG: Battlegrounds

The teammate recall feature which was introduced in PUBG Mobile and New State Mobile way back is now making its way to PUBG PC.

PUBG PC players will soon be able to recall their teammates if they get down while engaging in an intense battle against the opponent team. This feature will soon be introduced with the upcoming 23.2 patch update in the game. Krafton usually brings a new feature firstly on the PC version and then carry forwards it to the mobile versions of PUBG. However, the teammate recall feature was firstly introduced in the mobile versions of the game including PUBG Mobile (all versions) and New State Mobile.

To recall teammates in PUBG: Battlegrounds, players will have to pick up the blue chip from the deathbox of the ally and then use it on the blue chip spawned at random locations on the map. This feature would be exclusively available on Erangle, Miramar and Deston maps of the PUBG: Battlegrounds.

Another way of recalling the teammate is using the blue chip transmitter through which one can recall the teammate anytime during the match. Each teammate can be recalled a maximum of six times during the match. This feature will not work if the entire team gets eliminated. For those who can't wait to experience this feature, Krafton has made the patch update available on the test servers of the game.

Apart from the recall feature, Krafton is bringing some notable changes in the game including weapon balances, new clan system, and other in-game features.

Gameplay updates:
1. Vehicle icon - After leaving the vehicle, an icon would be visible on the map at the location the player left it. The icon will not be visible to other players in the squad. The icon will be removed once to onboard another vehicle during the match.
2. Carry knocked teammates in Vehicle - Players will now be able to carry their knocked teammates in the vehicle which would allow them to escape from the enemy squad and later revive them. To load your knocked teammate into the vehicle, players will have to use a limited interact key.

3. DBNO - Few adjustments have been made to the balance of automatic HP loss during Down But Not Out (DBNO) to provide players with additional strategies.

New Clan System: Krafton is also introducing a new clan system to PUBG: Battlegrounds. It will enable players who are in a clan to earn 30% BP boost and double XP bonus from playing together.

The 23.2 patch update will give live on May 17 for PC players, while console players will have to wait till May 25 to experience the new features.
