So the players find themselves in the mysterious forest and pretty much have to figure out the rest on their own. While it adds a creative layer of being stranded in the middle of nowhere, it can be troublesome to figure out how to find certain resources.
One of those resources, and a crucial one, is the shovel. It has been confusing for players to understand how to find a shovel in Sons of the Forest. Apparently, it has been difficult to find the shovel in the game.
A shovel is an important tool in Sons of the Forest since it allows players to dig for other useful resources. It also lets players dig and find their way to some bunkers which hold key information regarding the story and have valuable items hidden there.

Where to find shovel in Sons of the Forest
Twitch streamer SmerfTV_ discovered the shovel in their stream, making it easier for other players to get their hands on the tool and start digging.
The streamer went to the bottom of three different cave systems. The first one requires the player to use a zip wire to dive down. To dive deep, players would require a Rebreather which is available in the first cave you visit in the game.
Another thing you need is a Rope Gun for the zip wire. The Rope Gun can be found in a cave which is near the 3D Printer’s cave. To locate the cave, check your map and you’ll find it next to the large mountain range.
There’ll be several armless enemies in the cave so be prepared to take them down and survive. The player’s GPS will guide them through all the locations they’ll need to visit in the cave.
After you have descended to the bottom of the three cave systems, there will be a shovel on the ground ready to be picked up. Equip the shovel and it’ll allow you to locate dig spots where other items like a bunker and keycard can be found. It’s also important to remember that bunkers are crucial for the main story progression in Sons of the Forest, making it all the more important to get the shovel in Sons of the Forest.
