Horizon online multiplayer game is being developed, confirms Guerilla Games
This new game will be “featuring a new cast of characters and a unique stylized look” where “friends will be able to explore the majestic wilds of Horizon together.'
Guerrilla Games have confirmed that they’re beginning work on a new Horizon online co-op game. The studio listed a total of 17 different job positions on their website for this upcoming game set in the Horizon universe. Sometime after the listings were spotted, Guerrilla Games officially made the announcement for the upcoming game as well. The online multiplayer Horizon game will be featuring a new set of characters in the world of Horizon.

The official job listing posted on their social media has more than 30 positions open, ranging from Animation, Art, Design, Programming and Writing. These positions are not just for the online game but also for their single-player game as well as for their “external project team”.
Guerrilla Games wrote on their social media account, “Join Guerrilla in Amsterdam as we work to expand the world of Horizon.”

Guerilla Games said that “a new internal team is developing a separate Online Project set in Horizon’s universe”. This new game will be “featuring a new cast of characters and a unique stylized look” where “friends will be able to explore the majestic wilds of Horizon together."
While this game will introduce new characters, Guerilla Games confirmed that the studio will continue to “create epic solo adventures” that involve Aloy, the protagonist of the Horizon series so far.
Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores DLC
In other Horizon news, the studio recently revealed the major DLC coming for Horizon Forbidden West. The Burning Shores DLC was revealed at The Game Awards 2022 and it will take Aloy for the next adventure to Los Angeles Hollywood. This DLC will release next year on April 19, 2023. Burning Shores DLC teaser showed Aloy riding a Sunwing bird mech and it landed on top of the iconic Hollywood sign and toppled it. The teaser obviously didn't reveal a lot of information but it is believed to be a significant expansion for Horizon Forbidden West. Check out the trailer below:
