Honkai: Star Rail- About the game
This upcoming game is the fourth installment in the Honkai series, following FlyMe2theMoon (2011), Houkai Gakuen 2 (2014) also known as Guns Girl Z, and Honkai Impact 3rd. While the first two games were for mobile, the Honkai Impact 3D entered the PC gaming space, as will Honkai: Star Rail.
Honkai: Star Rail is a free-to-play 3D turn-based tactical RPG just like its predecessors. It will include the genre of hack ‘n slash in its gameplay. And much like Genshin Impact, and the other games of the Honkai series, the anime and manga characters are brought to life but not in an open-world setting. Honkai: Star Rail does, however, follow the events of Honkai Impact 3D, where Welt Yang embarks on a “journey towards vast unexplored worlds”.
