Global Esports CEO urges BGMI players to concentrate on New State Mobile now that their LAN tournaments have begun
In a recent livestream, Global Esports' CEO stated that BGMI would most likely not return before March or April.
Rushindra Sinha, CEO of Global Esports, stated in a livestream that BGMI would not return until March or April. Sinha has asked the BGMI players to shift their focus to Krafton's third-person battle royale game, New State Mobile. He went on to explain how BGMI's ban in India is following the same pattern as that of PUBG Mobile.
“People call me a pessimist”, says the CEO of Global Esports
When asked about the latest updates regarding the return of BGMI, Rushindra Sinha stated that the game would most likely not return before March or April.
He further explained, “I have said this before, and I’ll say it again. People call me a pessimist, but we saw it in PUBG Mobile. When it was banned, everyone said that it would return next month, but it never did, and BGMI took its place.” He added, “Right now, BGMI has been banned. Everyone has been saying that it will return in the next week since it was banned, and it still hasn't”.
He further suggested the BGMI players to focus on New State Mobile until an official announcement regarding the return of BGMI is made. New State Mobile has already begun and is doing well with its LAN tournaments.
Sinha: "We will probably be the ones who will benefit the most if BGMI returns"
Sinha stated that 11 days before BGMI was banned, the BGMI Master Series (BGMS) tournament was held in which Global Esports had an incredible performance. In the tournament, Global esports took home a Hyundai Venue Car and a prize of Rs 26,60,000.
He further stated that his team would benefit the most from BGMI’s return, “If the game comes back, we will probably be the ones to benefit the most in comparison to the other teams. I want the game to come back. Does that mean it will come back? I don’t know. We’ll find out, that’s all”.
