Genshin Impact: How to defeat Setekh Wenut
Here's where you can find the Setekh Wenut and beat the creature to earn energy for Alhaitham and get the “He Who Controls the Spice…” achievement.
Wenut are desert creatures newly added to Genshin Impact with update 3.4. Players exploring the area can get attacked by the Wenut who is an underground creature. Wenut doesn’t deal significant physical damage to the player but their constant encounters can get on the nerves of a player quick.
Wenut also has a boss version called Setekh Wenut. It can be found in the Wenut Tunnel and defeating the creature will help players gain energy for the Ascension of certain characters. Genshin Impact 3.4 version currently only requires Setekh Wenut energy farming for Alhaitham.
How to find Setekh Wenut in Genshin Impact
Setekh Wenut’s location isn’t complicated to find in Genshin Impact. The Wenut Tunnel can be found easily as multiple roads lead to that tunnel. However, the easiest way to reach the Wenut Tunnel is through the Teleport Waypoint south of the Setekh Wenut marker.
Once you reach there via teleportation, there’s a hole right in front of the players. Simply walk to the role and glide down. You’ll find a large sand arena with a green circle. Get closer to that circle and Setekh Wenut will come out.
How to beat Setekh Wenut in Genshin Impact
Setekh Wenut is a relatively easy boss to defeat. It doesn’t have any powerful attacks that should cause much trouble to the players. However, its mobility can be challenging coupled with its ability to go underground.
A good strategy to finish this battle off real quick is to deal damage when the Setekh Wenut stands up. This will happen when you’ve been battling for a while. At this point, the creature will summon Windbite Bullets which are essentially green Anemo circles. You must destroy two of these Windbite Bullets.
This can be done through the use of Elements such as Cryo, Pyro, Electro, and Hydro. All of these react with Anemo. Once you’ve destroyed the bullets, Setekh Wenut will fall. Players can now deal damage to it and eventually beat the Setekh Wenut. Defeating the Setekh Wenut earns players the “He Who Controls the Spice…” achievement.
