EVO 2023 announces its lineup; Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, and Tekken 7 among the fighting roster 

EVO has revealed its lineup for 2023. Capcom’s Street Fighter is making its debut at this year’s EVO tournament.

 The Evolution Championship Series (EVO) has officially announced its 2023 lineup. The list includes eight games, particularly of the fighting genre. This year's tournament will take place from August 4 to August 6 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Among the titles enlisted are Tekken 7, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Street Fighter 6, and many more.

EVO 2023 lineup 

The EVO 2023 tournament will feature eight fighting games. The games are as follows:

Street Fighter 6

Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 is making its debut at EVO 2023. Street Fighter 6 is scheduled to release on June 2, 2023. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and Tekken 7 on the other hand, are making their seventh appearance at EVO.

Guilty Gear -Strive- and The King of Fighters XV

Guilty Gear -Strive-, along with The King of Fighters XV, will appear in the EVO for the second time.

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is appearing for the third time at EVO, while Dragon Ball FighterZ is in the EVO lineup for the fourth time.

The prize pool for each main game mentioned in the lineup will be $25,000. Players who wish to register for EVO 2023 can do so at www.evo.gg. 

“We are excited to once again feature an incredible lineup of fighting games at Evo 2023 and are thrilled to be including our first Evo Throwback tournament with Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3,” said Rick Thiher, General Manager of Evo.

He added, “This year we’re establishing $25,000 minimum prize pools for each tournament in our lineup, and continuing our efforts to improve the Evo event experience for players and fans.”

EVO is hosting its first live event since 2019. This year, Chipotle will serve as the event's presenting partner.
