ESPL 2021 Group D Day 6 Round 2 concludes, top teams qualify for round 3

The first round of the ESPL 2021 Level 1 Group D took place for three days and ended on 18th July 2021, top teams from the first round qualified for the next stage. On 19th July 2021, we saw the commencement of the first day of Group D round 2 matches. The top teams from round 1 competed in the second round of the ESPL 2021 Level 1 Group D stage.
ESPL 2021 is a franchise-based league announced by India Today Gaming, the gaming and esports division of India Today Group. The tournament features a massive prize pool of Rs 25,00,000 distributed among the top 8 teams in the grand finals scheduled to be held on 29th August 2021.
Level 1 Group D Round 2
The top teams from the previous stage competed in round 2 of the ESPL 2021 Level 1 Group D stage. Each team will play a total of three matches in round 2 of the league. The matches will be played in Bermuda, Purgatory, and Kalahari maps. An overall standing will be created considering the points of both matches. The top three teams from the overall standings will qualify for the next round.
ESPL 2021 Level 1 Group D Round 2 Match Overview
Naughty India topped the overall standings in the DR2M17 round with a total of 120 points including the 56 kills points. RNX eSports and Underdogs_7 finished at the second and third positions respectively in the overall standings.
Hind finished at the number one stop after the completion of DR2M18 three matches. The team secured a total of 124 points in the overall standings. FF WR finished at the second spot with a total of 87 points. The DR2M19 was won by Immortals TGB with a total of 68 kills and 132 total points.
The last group match of the day was won by Inyourdreams. The squad were the table toppers of the DR2M20 round with a total of 114 points and 50 kill points. EG Flexx took the second spot with 108 points followed by LVL Pheonix with a total of 74 points.
