Call Of Duty Modern Warfare II: All multiplayer game modes, killstreaks, field upgrades, perks, field upgrades revealed
Activision has also confirmed two regions, which will serve as the base for some upcoming multiplayer maps.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is just two days away from release. While the game’s campaign is already available for players who pre-ordered the latest Activision Blizzard title, fans of multiplayer would have to wait until October 28th. Activision has now revealed, in detail, all the multiplayer killstreaks, perks, game modes and field upgrades players can enjoy in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II multiplayer gameplay experience.
Game Modes
There will be two game mode categories in Modern Warfare II: Core map and Battle map modes. Core Map modes will offer 6v6 combat on a smaller map zone whereas Battle Map will feature 32v32 game types and quite naturally, will be played on a relatively larger map.

Maps
Activision is yet to reveal the exact name of the upcoming maps or how many maps will be added. However, the recent Call of Duty blog post does mention that maps will look to offer three varieties. For starters, there will be maps based on the Al Mazrah region. This Middle-Eastern-themed region will also serve as the main map for Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 which is set for release at a later stage.
The Central America region of Las Almas will serve as the second inspiration behind maps. Players can find this region in several missions during the Modern Warfare II campaign as well. There are no criteria set for the third category as Activision said some maps would be based on the “rest of the world”.
Perks
Modern Warfare II has reimagined how perks work. Players would now start a match with two base perks and they’ll be able to unlock two more perks during the match. These two perks would be a bonus perk and then an ultimate perk. Here are the perks available in the multiplayer modes of Modern Warfare II:
Perks work a little differently in Modern Warfare II than in previous titles, with players starting each match with two base perks before unlocking two additional perks (a bonus perk and an ultimate perk) over the course of the match. Here is the list of perks to choose from at launch.

Killstreaks
One of the most engaging elements of Call of Duty’s multiplayer are killstreaks. Having a killstreak without dying unlocks a variety of guns, weapons and equipment that can be deployed to deal some heavy damage or extend that killstreak.
These killstreaks are earned through successive kills without dying but can also be earned through score. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will offer the following killstreak bonuses:
