Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II
20 more days to go! But till then, Activision really knows how to keep the hype up and going. The latest update on Modern Warfare 2 is a brand new “Official Launch Trailer”, of the Campaign mode. This single-player story mode of MWII will be focusing on Task Force 141’s crackdown on terrorism and drugs, but “there are bigger problems”. A character we see in a trailer explains, “Terrorism is good for business”. Maybe the “war on terrorism” is just a distraction from the “bigger problems”. So are things not all black ‘n white in this game? Has Infinity Ward taken things up a notch by blending in some of the real world with this installment? Thankfully, the wait is not going to be for long, as one can play the campaign mode up to a week early if they digitally pre-order Modern Warfare 2.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II launches on October 28th on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and Battle.net. You can pre-order the game digitally right now directly from the official website, or from the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Steam and Battle.net.
Call of Duty: Mobile
The famous Zombies mode of the Call of Duty franchise is now coming to Call of Duty: Mobile. "Season 9: Zombies are Back" is set to launch on October 12, in celebration of the Halloween month. The season includes a new Battle Pass, with new Operators, weapons, lethals, calling cards and more. It will also bring a new multiplayer map called the Haunted Hacienda, featuring an eerie vineyard estate.
Other updates: Advanced Warfare 2 in the making and more
In other news that has surfaced online, Advanced Warfare 2 is reportedly in development. Popular CoD leaker, Ghost of Hope, has revealed that Sledgehammer Games, makers of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare from 2014 are currently working on the game. Sledgehammer has reportedly scheduled Advanced Warfare 2’s launch in 2025, so it’s going to be a while before we get to hear more about the game officially. The sequel is reportedly going to bring in some futuristic twist to the Advanced Warfare, atypical of Call of Duty games.
I can confirm this is true from what I’ve heard. https://t.co/ogFofBRuqW
