Call of Duty Mobile Halloween event to come with Pumpkin mode, Standoff map and undead fog

In addition, the company also teased all this content in a 45-second long video to create some hype. Let’s take a closer at the new updates that Call of Duty Mobile will get during the Halloween event.

Activision has just shared latest information about the upcoming content on its popular Battle Royale title, Call of Duty Mobile. The game publisher shared details about new in-game content celebrating Halloween. In addition, the company also teased all this content in a 45-second long video to create some hype. It is calling these in-game content updates as “Halloween Delights”. Looking closely, these Halloween Delights include Halloween Standoff map, the “Undead Fog”, and “Pumpkin Confirmed” mode. The Halloween Standoff map first made its debut last year to celebrate the same occasion. Now, let’s take a closer at the new updates that Call of Duty Mobile will get during the Halloween event.

Call of Duty Mobile shares details around Halloween event

First, let’s talk about the new “Pumpkin Confirmed” mode that is coming as part of the “Halloween event”. Checking the 45-second video promo, it appears that it is a tweaked version of the “Kill Confirmed” mode. However, here, dead players leave a pumpkin instead of a dog-tag. The player must collect the Pumpkins that the rival team leaves to score points or collect the ones their team members left to stop opponents from scoring any points. Now, moving to the “Halloween Standoff” map, as mentioned above, this is not really a new thing. The game developer launched this map last year to celebrate the occasion. This year, it makes a return with similar Halloween decor and vibe.

Finally, let’s talk about the third and last “Halloween Delight”, the Undead Fog. This new mode will land on October 30 for Battle Royale players. Here, the players will fight off a zombie army to survive till the end. The teaser video also highlighted some “mystery boxes” scattered on the map in this mode. It is likely that players can get some in-game items or rewards in these boxes.

This announcement comes just days after the company launched Season 11 along with the one-year anniversary celebration. In addition to the Halloween-related content, the company also teased vehicle skins for Battle Royale mode. You can check the 20-second teaser video here. These skins are available in a new crate called “Wealth and Wheels”.
