The Game Awards 2024: All Major Game Announcements

The Game Awards 2024 was a night to remember, packed with exciting announcements and surprises. Hosted by Geoff Keighley, the show celebrated gaming’s best while giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come. 

From long-awaited sequels to brand-new games, there was something for everyone. Along with the Game of the Year award, the event featured world premieres and trailers for upcoming titles

It was a thrilling night for gamers everywhere. Here’s a quick look at the biggest game reveals from the show!

Witcher 4

After years of teasing only with very microscopic reveals from the developers we finally get the trailer for the next installment in one of the biggest game franchises ever. In this this trailer Ciri takes the centre stage and the trailer somewhat makes us think of the first reveal trailer of Witcher 3

Elden Ring: Nightreign

After the success of DLC Shadow of Erdtree, Elden ring with a stand alone game which will be a co-op game which acts a spin-off of the main game and happens in parallel to Elden Ring. the game is expected to be crossplay compatible letting gamers play on all the devices like PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, & Xbox series X/S

The Outer Worlds 2

With only few cover arts images Obisidian’s next big game has a gameplay reveal trailer which teases more refined gameplay mechanics, humor and more space adventures for gamers to experience.

Mafia: The Old Country

This is another returning franchise coming back with a new game and by the looks of it the game acts as a prequel to the game franchise set in the backdrop of Italy and its beautiful mountains. Where the players can see how the story started.

Borderlands 4

With only a reveal of a title called borderlands 4 on the eve of the theatrical release of the borderlands movie, fans can finally see the gameplay trailer during the awards show. And it is nothing short of the previous installments and its as crazy and destruction filled fun as before.

Split Fiction

The developers of a successful co-op game called It Takes Two are back again with another co-op game but this time set in the split world setting of scifi and fantasy. Now players can enjoy both the genres in a one game.

Intergalactic

Naught Dog has revealed is next game ip called Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. With the reveal trailer the game this time will set in the space travel and exploration with hints of bounty hunting, think of it like Red Dead Redemption set in space.
