Supercell’s popular mobile strategy game Clash of Clans has finally announced the release of a long-awaited update - the Town Hall 17 which boasts of amazing features, new mechanisms, and great improvements in user experience among several other things. Here is everything that you need to know.
Major Features of Town Hall 17
Merge Mechanics:

Players have to merge the new Town Hall with the Max Level Eagle Artillery, successful completion of which makes the Eagle Artillery obsolete.

This merge construction allows the use of the Inferno Artillery, which is a new type of hybrid weapon comprising four single-target destructive shells attached to a fire pool that causes area damage.
Giga Bomb Evolution:

The Giga Bomb that everyone knows and loves has now been designated a trap that can be placed anywhere.

The position must be extremely close to a clustering troop of 18 housing spaces of troops to explode and create a deafening sound with violent damage.

Tactical difficulties persist as the item is not visible in any hiding shade.

New Hero Levels and Troop Upgrades:

Five more levels are added to all the heroes with new troop and spell upgrades including the Giant, Wizard, Dragon, Electro Dragon, and more.

Hero Skin Selection System Overhaul: Advanced screen with improved glow and surface texture for enhanced experience.

Hard Mode Settings Now Permanent: Hard mode saves settings in the casual match of the challenges.

Town Hall level 8 available for upgrade: For the first time, Archer Queen is available at this level.

Builder's apprentice reinforcements: Now available at the forge, icons have been purged from the Town Hall.

Cost and Activity Timings Reductions: Yet another round of reductions facilitates progression for average players.
