Once Human is a Post Apocalyptic base building survival games with horror elements, the players play in a MMORPG style map servers where the players can engage in PVP or PVE gameplays. To help the players in their survival they can find entities called Deviants which make the crafting and resource-collecting to better help them venture into more harsh parts of the map and survive there. The developers have made the game in a unique way where each season lasts for 6 weeks and after that duration, the game gets a server-wide update and all the servers are wiped making all the players start the new season for an even start.

A similar format will be followed for the mobile release of the game too, that will be in parallel with the seasonal releases of the game on PC and Consoles.
