The BGMI tournament is a three-season affair and will engage more than 1,024 teams of players competing across its popular Battle Royale maps such - Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok.
The event is scheduled to be launched on 16th October for its first season. Format and Prize Pool
The tournament format has been divided into different phases starting with Open Qualifiers and further into Closed Qualifiers, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Grand Finals. The gradual elimination of teams in phases will leave only the top 16 teams to compete for the final showdown, while the total prize pool for the tournament will amount to INR 50,000. Grand Final matches will be played over two days, and the winning team will pocket the top prize.
