Everything You Need to Know About Genshin Impact's Permanent Rhythm Mode in Version 5.3
Discover Genshin Impact's permanent rhythm mode, 'Repertoire of Myriad Melodies,' debuting in Version 5.3.
Genshin Impact fans have a new reason to celebrate as Version 5.3 introduces a permanent rhythm game mode, "Repertoire of Myriad Melodies." Launching on January 1, 2025, this addition will offer 56 tracks inspired by the game's vibrant regions and characters, marking a significant expansion of Genshin's non-combat gameplay offerings.
A Musical Milestone
The Rhythm event has been a popular aspect for players and has made many temporary returns in the consecutive updates of Genshin Impact. Today it is presented more thoroughly as an MC with a shop, the functionality of the player to share tracks, and a long list of sounds covering Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, and Fontaine.
Notable Tracks Include:
- Mondstadt: ‘Invitation of Windblume’ and ‘Dance of Aphros’ (Eula) and ‘Symphony of Boreal Wind.
- Liyue: “Path of Yaksha” (Xiao), “Rex Incognito” (Zhongli), and “Wrath of Monoceros Caeli” (Tartaglia).
- Inazuma: “Termination of Desires” (Raiden Shogun), “Time to Shine” (Arataki Itto,) and “No Turning Back”.
- Sumeru: “Surasthana Fantasia” (Nahida), “Order of Silence” (Cyno) and “Polumnia Omnia” (The Balladeer).
- Fontaine: “Lustrous Trick” (Lyney), “Se mettre sur son trente et un!” (Furina) and “Silhouette of Catastrophe”.
Tracks from the upcoming region of Natlan are likely to be included in updates as new characters are added.
Long-Term Gameplay Potential
The fact that this mode is permanent means that there is no associated pressure to complete events in Genshin that are strained over time. Players can, instead, go into the tracks in the rhythm with their comfort and even more so, the introduction of tracks might even be centered on particular characters and regions within the game.

On the other hand, this leads to further discussion on the viability of the flagship rhythm events in the future. They could go to the grave with the style of gameplay, but history shows that with Genius Invokation TCG as the example, rhythm events are still likely to be incorporated within the events of Genshin.
The new orchestral mode ‘Repertoire of Myriad Melodies’ is promising to be revolutionary for Genshin Impact as it brings forth something other than the usual hack and slash involving deadly weapons. As the user will be preparing to welcome the year 2025 with Version 5.3, this new rhythm mode is likely to appeal to both old and new players.
