BGIS 2025 Dates, Venue, and Prize Pool Officially Announced by Krafton
Building on the success of the past two years, KRAFTON aims to make 2025 bigger and better with high-stakes tournaments, community initiatives, and increased opportunities for emerging talent.
KRAFTON India unveils the lineup regarding BGMI Esports in 2025, with BGIS AND BMPS returning. Along with this, KRAFTON has also announced New events named Rising Star and Esports College Campus Tour for the coming year.
BGIS 2025 Prize Pool and Registration Date
First in line is the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES (BGIS) 2025. This tournament is going to have its registrations starting on January 3, 2025. The prize pool for this big event will be worth ₹2 Crores.
BGIS 2025 Venue and Dates
The finals of BGIS 2025 will be happening live, in Kolkata, in April. However, the exact dates of the event are not announced yet. After 2019, this is the first time the finals will be happening in Kolkata.

Players and tournament organizers can register for tournaments and participate in upcoming Esports events KRAFTON India Esports website from January 3rd.
BMPS 2025 Prize Pool
After BGIS 2025, KRAFTON is going to conduct BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA PRO SERIES (BMPS) 2025. This tournament is for the top professional teams in India, and it will also have a prize pool of ₹2 Crores.

In addition to flagship tournaments, KRAFTON also announced Rising Star, a dedicated program aimed at nurturing upcoming Esports players and content creators. KRAFTON will also continue its popular Esports College Campus Tour in 2025, expanding to more colleges nationwide with a total prize pool of over INR 2 crore
About BGIS 2024
To highlight, this year, the BGIS 2024 took place from June 28 to June 30, 2024, in Hyderabad. The event featured a total prize pool of INR 2 Crore. Team XSpark emerged as the champions of BGIS 2024, showcasing an exceptional performance in the Grand Finals. They walked away with the first prize of INR 60 lakhs. Global Esports stood as the first runner-up, earning INR 30 lakhs while Reckoning Esports claimed the second runner-up spot securing an amount of INR 20 lakhs. The MVP title was awarded to NinjaBoi from Global Esports.
