The first round of the ESPL 2021 Level 1 Group D ended on 19th July 2021, top teams from the first round qualified for the next stage. Today we will see the commencement of day 5 of the league. The top teams from round 1 will compete in the second round of the ESPL 2021 Level 1 Group D stage.
ESPL 2021 is a franchise-based league announced by India Today Gaming, the gaming and esports division of India Today Group. The tournament features a massive prize pool of Rs 25,00,000 distributed among the top 8 teams in the grand finals scheduled to be held on 29th August 2021.
ESPL 2021 Level 1 Group D Round 2
The top teams from the previous stage competed in round 2 of the ESPL 2021 Level 1 Group D stage. Each team will play a total of three matches in round 2 of the league. The matches will be played in Bermuda, Purgatory, and Kalahari maps. An overall standing will be created considering the points of all the matches. The top teams from the overall standings will qualify for the next round.
Level 1 Group D Round 2 Match Overview
Royal Rusher topped the overall standings in the DR2M9 round with a total of 126 points including the 66 kills points. Non Stop Gaming and Team Frozen finished at the second and third positions respectively in the overall standings.
RNX UND Army finished at the number one stop after the completion of DR2M10 matches. The team secured a total of 81 points in the overall standings. Naked Blind finished at the second spot with a total of 80 points. The DR2M11 was won by Biowar TN with a total of 44 kills and 104 total points. The team completely dominated its group teams.
High Flyer ESP were the table toppers of the DR2M12 round with a total of 94 points and 34 kill points. 4 Hunters took the second spot with 83 points followed by EXM with a total of 75 points.
