It’s been four days since Sons of the Forest launched on early access, to a very warm response from the audience. Developers Endnight Games have shared that Sons Of The Forest has sold 24 million copies within the first 24 hours of Early Access itself. Which means now is that time when people are still learning the ropes around the game, and quite literally so.
Traveling is a major aspect in Sons of the Forest, and you can do it faster if you have the sled. Read on to find out where to find the log sled, and how to use it.
Where to find the sled
The sled needs to be crafted in a cabin out of a 3D printer. The cabin can be found on the Western part of the map of the island, beside the mountains. The green GPS marker is indicating the location here on the phone.
A cave can be found in the location which leads to the cabin containing the printer underground.
How to craft the sled in Sons of the Forest
You first need to put the printer resin into the printer using the control indicated. Then move on to the laptop kept beside the printer and use it to change the option for the item you want to print. You will find the sled amongst the available options. Once you select the log sled, the print option will make itself available.
In case you run out of printer resin, you can always get more by duplicating the item.
After the log sled’s done printing, pick it up to add it to your inventory. You can then use it whenever, by equipping the log sled from your inventory like you would any other item. To get on the sled, you need to jump and click to get on board, and the rest of the controls remain as they are for movement.
The sled is a handy tool when used in sloping surfaces. They make travel faster and more convenient when going from one place to another.
