No Man’s Sky Expeditions are back and here's how you can earn the Leviathan frigate, Child of Helios Companion, and more
The studio is bringing back all the expeditions from 2022 during the Holiday season so that players who missed out on these rewards have a chance to earn them.
No Man's Sky is a game that has provided constant updates, features and new content to its community. Hello Games released four content updates in 2022 which they call Expeditions. These Expeditions offer various limited-time rewards which have to be earned through objectives. The studio is now bringing back all these expeditions during the Holiday season so that players who missed out on these rewards have a chance to earn them.
No Man's Sky Expedition rewards
The first expedition in this re-run will be Exobiology which is Expedition 5. It was the first Expedition to arrive in No Man’s Sky this year. Exobiology would give players the chance to earn their very own Sentinal companion always looking out for them. Blighted is another expedition and it’ll give players the chance to earn a dope-looking Outlaws cape. In comparison to having a robot dog, it’s not as impressive but it’s still a premium cape if you like capes on your space traveller.
Up next, you’ll get a chance to complete the Leviathan expedition. The mission objectives of Leviathan provide a bit more fun and challenging compared to the rest of the expeditions. This particular mission storyline features roguelike gameplay. So if you’d like that challenge, the rewards do end up feeling even more rewarding. At the end of the Leviathan expedition, you’ll get the epic Leviathan as part of your Frigate fleet. Nothing like having a mythical space serpent in your squad.
Polestar was the last expedition for 2022 and it’ll give players the chance to earn a magnificent space jellyfish. Complete this expedition to earn the ‘Child of Helios Companion’ and then contemplate for hours whether you should hang out with the space jellyfish or your robot dog for the next adventure.
Here’s the schedule for the No Man’s Sky Expedition re-run:
Exobiology: November 24 - December 8
Blighted: December 8 - 22
Leviathan: December 22 - January 5
Polestar: January 5 - 18
