1. Global Item Nerfs

The dev team is reducing the power of almost every Legendary item by 5-15%. The goal is to curb the snowballing effect that often occurs when players farm too efficiently, accelerating the game’s pace. Rather than reducing gold gain, Riot is making the items less stat-efficient, meaning players will rely more on their champions' abilities than raw item power.

2. Item Queuing System

Riot is introducing a new item queuing feature. Players can assign items to a queue, allowing them to track how much gold is needed. There’s also a One-Click Purchase feature that buys as many item components as possible within the player's available gold, streamlining the shopping experience. Additionally, if players leave the base without buying an item, they’ll receive a notification to return and purchase.

3. Ping System Overhaul

The ping system will see several changes, including new notifications for low health, potion use, and objective spawns. Notably, a "My Bad" ping will be introduced to acknowledge mistakes, improving communication among teammates. There will also be map alerts if a teammate is getting invaded in the jungle.

4. K’Sante Rework

K’Sante is receiving over 40 changes in Patch 14.19. These adjustments focus on redistributing his power across his abilities, aiming to balance his overperformance in pro play while maintaining his viability in normal games. This rework reflects Riot's ongoing attempt to find a middle ground for the champion, although some question whether his abilities need a full rework.

5. New Pings and Objective Banners

Riot is adding new pings and banners for objective spawns to enhance player experience and communication. These updates are designed to make coordination easier and gameplay more dynamic, marking a shift in how objectives will be communicated during matches.

Patch 14.19 is a significant step towards reshaping the meta for Season 2025, emphasizing balance in both champion performance and item reliance. As the patch rolls out, players can expect more updates and adjustments as Riot fine-tunes these changes. Check back for more details as Riot continues to adjust the patch notes!
