Apex Legends Season 16 leaks reveal new legend and its abilities, new class system and more
Apex Legends Season 16 leaks also suggest that the Apex Legends class system will be modified and introduce two new character classes.
Apex Legends YouTuber and leaker Thordan Smash has suggested that a new legend might be headed to the Apex Games. Ballistic is the leaked Apex Legend who could make his debut when Apex Legends Season 16 arrives. Apex Legends Season 16 leaks also suggest that the Apex Legends class system will be modified and introduce two new character classes.
Ballistic is the leaked Apex Legends Season 16 character
Like it is with any game, take Apex Legends Season 16 leaks with a grain of salt. However, Thordan Smash is a notable Apex Legends leaker with reliable EA and Respawn Entertainment insiders as sources. Smash commented on a Reddit post (spotted by AFK Gaming) earlier this month, “I genuinely think Respawn won't have a new legend for season 16. Let's see.” The post was talking about a potential banner tease for a new unannounced Apex Legend.

Interestingly, Thordan Smash tweeted the very next day about Ballistic, the leaked Apex Legend. The leaker wrote, “Imagine if Apex Legends had a tactical that fires a bullet that if lands make the enemy put away their weapon. An ability of that Caliber would make people go Ballistic.”
Ballistic passive, tactical and ultimate abilities
PWN Hub, a social media account for Apex Legends leaks, revealed Ballistic’s abilities and listed leaker NightTerras as their source. His passive is called Weapon Sling, as per the leak. Ballistic’s tactical ability is Smart Bullet and the ultimate ability of Ballistic is Weapon Enhancer. While the names are revealed, there’s currently no further information leaked about how each of these operates.

Apex Legends Season 16 new class system
There are also talks about new classes being introduced for Apex Legends Season 16. Thordan Smash posted that Respawn Entertainment is moving away from the Attack, Defense, Support and Recon class system. Smash did not reveal the name of the leaker who shared this information.
As per the leak, two new classes are being introduced in Apex Legends Season 16. These will be the Assault and Skirmisher classes. Also, defence legends would now be termed “Control” legends.
It also makes since that LAN is February 2nd now in London, no class changes until February 14th on season 16 so pros arent impacted until next split

Pathfinder and Mirage will be part of the Skirmisher classes and both of them are said to go through reworks for the upcoming Apex Legends season.
“The new classes in Apex Legends have another leaker putting out info about them...and I'm all for it. Pathfinder finally getting a solid rework baby,” wrote Smash when posting this leak, sharing his excitement for a Pathfinder rework.
