As part of Fortnitemares 2024, Fortnite's Symbiote Cup commences on October 22, 2024, and lets you win She-Venom and Agony skins for free! With Venom and Carnage already in the game, it's only logical that She-Venom and Agony join in on the fun. Alright, now here's all the scoop on what you need to know before joining the action!

When does the Symbiote Cup begin?

The Symbiote Cup is a Battle Royale Duos Tournament, spread across many regions. It starts from the 22nd of October 2024 and every region will get a window of three hours in which they can complete up to 10 matches. So make sure you log in to check when your region's window is. For those 10 matches, your aim is to score as many points as possible via eliminations and high placements.

Scoring System: Points & Eliminations

Fortnite wants things to be interesting, so the scoring system for the Symbiote Cup balances both placement and eliminations. Sure, ranking higher will earn you more points, but eliminations matter too! That way, no one can just camp their way to the top while others do the heavy lifting.

Here's how the placement points break down:

• 25th place gets you 2 points
• Every place higher gets you 2 points extra until you are at the number 5 spot:
• At number 5 position: 44 points
• At number 4 position: 48 points
• At number 3 position: 52 points
• At number 2 position: 56 points
• Number 1- that's 65 points!

And you also gather 1 point for each person you eliminate. In case your safety instincts would usually hog the stage of participation, this time, you should go for that little bit more aggressive strategy.

What You Need to Participate

Ready to play? Here's what you need:

• You have to be at least 13 years of age
• Have 2-factor authentication enabled for your account
• Your level for the account has to be at least 50 (check it through the Careers tab in-game)

All being said about being skill-based, items like Boom Billy, and Pumpkin Launchers, are however going to be disallowed for the tournament as they would have formed part of Fortnitemares. This evens the playing field and maintains the focus and concentration on strategy and eliminations.

How to Get the She-Venom & Agony Skins Free

The prize, of course, is the She-Venom and Agony skins! But only if you and your duo can do good do they unlock these skins for free before even opening at the shop to buy for whoever. You get to flaunt them early, as a badge of honor of winning the Symbiote Cup!

If all you want is to play and not win, you can pick up the skins in the item shop from October 24, 2024.

Without a point target toward winning, another way to stay ahead is not having to get to the top spot while piling on with the eliminations.
