Fortnitemares 2024: How to Play Horde Rush Mode, Complete Quests & Earn XP

Fortnitemares is coming back again for 2024. Of course, this time around, fans are getting more Halloween-flavored events. The Horde Rush mode is being brought back into Fortnite, where you'll be fighting waves of Cube Monsters for some serious XP. Here's everything you need to know about how to play Horde Rush, complete quests, and rack up rewards in Fortnite.
How to Access Horde Rush in Fortnite
To catch the fun, head to Fortnite's Play tab. Under Battle Royale, you can try to find Horde Rush right in the section of Zero Build. If you can't find it, it doesn't matter; it probably lies beneath the By Epic section, look through that to find it there.
From the time you activate into game mode, you have two minutes to loot and get ready for the monster onslaught that's going to come to you from there. Then, waves of enemies will invade you in a Prepare to battle, survive, and follow the storm pattern. Finally, prepare yourself for the final battle to wrap up your game as vividly as you can. Horde Rush will last until November 2, 2024, along with Fortnitemares this year.
Horde Rush Quests: How to Get Access to Them
You will get five quests when you join Horde Rush; more appear on October 21. Here is a rough idea of how to quickly go through the initial challenge set:
1. Cause Damage to Cube Monster Fiends (40,000 Damage)
Every possible type of Cube Monster in Horde Rush are categorized as fiends; the idea here simply is to kill as many as possible to reach 40,000 in aggregated damage and complete this quest.
2. Collect Score Multiplier (10)
Watch out for purple shards on the map. They are Score Multiplier. When you collect one, it boosts your score, and they lit up on your map when they spawn so you'll never miss them.
3. Get a KO Streak (x50 KO Streak)
To obtain KO Streak, defeat Cube Monsters in a series without letting your multiplier reset. You will knock out 50 fiends in a row to complete this task.
4. Break Cube Monster Spawners (10)
You're going to hit a spawner in the game many times. But what is the best way to defeat a spawner? Bang! Hit it with your pickaxe! You must break 10 spawners to complete this quest.
5. Defeat the Horde Rush Boss
At the final stage of Horde Rush, you will have to win over a Boss. In order to complete the quest, your team must defeat this boss while not having the spawning Cube Monsters kill you.

XP Rewards from Horde Rush Quests
Cosmetics aren't a reward for completing each Horde Rush quest this year, but 20,000 XP will be. End all five and you'll add 100,000 XP to your Battle Pass for that solid leveling boost.
