Get ready for Black Ops 6 Zombies with custom Zombie Builds! Learn how to set up your loadout, mark it for Zombies, and maximize your weapon power with wall buys and Mystery Box upgrades. Start dominating today!
Jumping into Black Ops 6 Zombies, you’ll quickly notice the Multiplayer loadout system has made its way over, letting you gear up with your custom weapon setup right from the start. Not only can you customize your starting loadout, but even wall buys can be decked out with your favorite attachments. Ready to make some deadly Zombie Builds? Here’s how to set it up!
Step 1: Head to the Weapons Tab
First up, go to the Weapons tab in the main menu, then pick Loadouts. This is where the magic begins. Choose your primary weapon and start customizing it for zombie domination. If you already have a weapon build saved, you can use that, or create a brand-new one if you’re feeling creative.
Step 2: Mark Your Build as a Zombie Build
Once you’ve got your weapon looking fierce, locate the option to set it as a Zombie Build. You can do this by pressing 1 on your keyboard or L2/LT on a controller. A cool red “Z” icon will show up next to your build, meaning it’s locked and loaded for zombies.
Step 3: Use Your Zombie Build in the Game
Now, when you grab a weapon in-game (whether it’s from a wall buy or the Mystery Box), if it has a Zombie Build set, it’ll come fully equipped with all your custom attachments. It’s perfect for getting those high-powered weapons loaded with upgrades right out of the box.

Pro Tips for Your Zombie Builds
• Start with a Loadout Weapon: This is a great way to bring your favorite weapon into the game. But keep in mind, loadout weapons are locked at common rarity—perfect for the early rounds but not as potent later on.
• Use Wall Buys and the Mystery Box for Better Gear: If you want something with more punch, consider saving your Zombie Build for weapons you find through wall buys or the Mystery Box. These have a chance to drop at higher rarities, meaning more damage and better zombie-slashing power.
• Secondary Weapon Must-Have: Since you can only bring one weapon into the game via loadout, Zombie Builds are an awesome way to ensure you’re set with a solid secondary weapon when the action heats up.
Heads Up: Camos Not Included
One thing to keep in mind—Weapon Camos aren’t saved on Zombie Builds just yet, so you’ll have to wait a bit if you want your custom skins in Zombies mode. And that’s it! With Zombie Builds, you’ll be wiping out hordes like a pro in no time.
