Chapter 2 Remix is here, and it’s bringing back not only classic POIs and fan-favorite characters but also some cool new features outside of Battle Royale. One exciting addition is the Beat Synced emote feature—if you’ve noticed this new tag on some of your emotes, you might be wondering what it’s all about. Here’s everything you need to know!
What is Beat Synced?
Beat Synced is a fresh feature added in the Remix update that syncs certain emotes to the beat of your chosen Jam Track. Basically, if an emote has the Beat Synced tag, it’ll adjust its tempo to match the Jam Track you’re currently playing. Got a fast track going? The emote speeds up! Slower vibe? The emote chills out, too. Whether you’re grooving in Battle Royale or Festival mode, these emotes will keep pace with your tunes.
All Emote Features in Chapter 2 Remix
With the new Beat Synced tag, emotes in Fortnite now have three unique features. Here’s the rundown to keep you in the know:
• Beat Sync: Emotes that adjust their tempo to match your Jam Track.
• Synced Emote: Emotes where you and friends can join in to dance, play instruments, or perform together.
• Traversal: Emotes that let you move around the map while showing off your moves.
Some emotes can have multiple tags! For example, Snoop’s Walk is both Beat Sync and Traversal, so you can groove to your track and walk around. Another example, the Chugga Chugga emote, is Synced and Traversal, letting others hop on for a fun mini train ride.
