Zenless Zone Zero Introduces Blazing Laurel: A Game-Changing W-Engine for Version 1.3

Zenless Zone Zero fans are in for a treat as HoYoverse unveils the "Blazing Laurel," a new S-Rank W-Engine, alongside the upcoming character Lighter. These additions are set to debut in the second half of Version 1.3, offering players exciting new customization options and power-ups.

Blazing Laurel: A Game-Changing W-Engine

The Blazing Laurel is a W-Engine of potent impact. It is an engine that can fire itself high and set up different strategies.

Base Stats: 

• 713 Base ATK at Level 60 with 18% Impact boost.

Effect (Flowing Flame): 

• Boosts Impact by 25% for 8 seconds after a Quick or Perfect Assist.

• Applies Wilt stacks to enemies with Basic Attacks, increasing Ice and Fire Crit Damage by 1.5% per stack (up to 20 stacks, 30-second duration).

This would prove to be a best-in-slot W-Engine for Ice and Fire embodiments, catering to diversity when played offensively or supportively.

Introducing Lighter

Lighter, the newest S-Rank character and member of the Sons of Calydon faction, debuts alongside Blazing Laurel. A Fire Stun specialist, Lighter brings explosive damage potential and complements characters like Burnice from Version 1.2. His release is slated for November 27, adding depth to Zenless Zone Zero’s roster.

Future for Zenless Zone Zero

While the players still wait for Lighter and the Blazing Laurel, HoYoverse has already hinted at its exciting additions in Version 1.4. Newly introduced characters are confirmed: Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa from Section 6 of two characters. Rumor has it that there will also be a free S-Rank character.
