The Game Awards 2024: Nominees Announced, Here is Everything You Need To Know

The highly anticipated Game Awards 2024 is set to take place on December 12, marking its 10th edition with 30 diverse categories spotlighting some of the industry’s biggest games and creators. This year, two categories—Best Esports Coach and Best Esports Event—have been removed, trimming the lineup slightly compared to last year.

Furthermore, the eligibility requirements for nominations now include expansions, game seasons, DLCs, remakes, and remasters, as long as they are deemed qualified for submission by the jury. Importantly, this has made it possible for such titles as Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree and Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred to gain nominations.
