Netflix Removes GTA 3 and Vice City Following Licensing Expiration

Netflix has removed GTA 3 and Vice City from its game streaming library due to the expiration of the licensing agreement with Rockstar Games.
Netflix streaming service has removed Grand Theft Auto 3 and Vice City. The games are available to be played on the mobile devices as a part of its game streaming library on the streaming app.
The games were removed from the library on 13th december 2024. This was a result of the expiration of the licensing agreement between Netflix and Rockstar games. The Streaming service has notified its users in the notification section under leaving soon along with the Shows and Movies from the service.
The games made its debut on the streaming service as a part of Trilogy release along with San Andreas in November 2023. The games released on the streaming service are based on the Definitive Edition releases of the games. Which had a very criticized release on the consoles but it has received very positive response for the mobile edition of them.
As the gaming experience of these games are much more smooth than its console counterparts. Which has made many players enjoy these games on mobile devices. And being a streaming game the players don't need to sacrifice major part of their mobile devices storage and still enjoy the game.
Which GTA Titles available on the Service
Despite removing GTA 3 & Vice City from the streaming service San Andreas is still available to play.

According to the Data revealed by Netflix, the games were downloaded 81.2 million times in total over the period of last year.
