Is XDefiant Available on Mac?

This anti-fraud solution is designed to run on Windows and is incompatible with the Mac operating system. While XDefiant can work on Linux, which supports these anti-cheat platforms thanks to Steam Deck, the same doesn’t work on Mac.

Some users may consider using the CrossOver compatibility level that allows running Windows games on a Mac as a viable option. However, CrossOver is also not supported by XDefiant due to an anti-fraud problem. The problem stems from the fact that these anti-cheating solutions are Windows Kernel Modules, which cannot start on CrossOver.

Unfortunately, it seems unlikely that XDefiant will be ported to macOS in the future. Ubisoft has yet to announce any plans to support the platform, and even their previous games have excluded Mac compatibility.
