How to Get Pokémon TCG Pocket Flair

In Pokémon TCG Pocket, collecting cards is fun, but you can make them look even cooler with something called Flair! Flair adds special effects to your cards, like sparkles or other animations, to make them stand out. Here’s everything you need to know to get and use Flair.

What is Flair?

Flair is a feature that adds effects to your cards. There are two types of Flair:

Cosmetic Flair: Adds a cool effect you can see anytime you look at the card or play it in a game.
Battle Flair: Adds an effect that only shows up when you place the card on the playmat during a battle.

How to Get Flair

To add Flair to your cards, you’ll need Shinedust and duplicate cards. Here’s how to do it:

Check for Extra Cards: Go to your collection and use the filter in the bottom-right corner. Choose “Duplicates” to see all the cards you have extra copies of.
Choose a Card: Pick a card you want to add Flair to. You’ll need at least five copies of the card to start.
Add Flair: Tap on “Obtain Flair” under the card. You’ll see the types of Flair you can add. Pick one, then use some Shinedust and duplicate cards to unlock it! After unlocking the first Flair effect, more options will be available. They cost more than Shinedust and duplicate cards.

Things to Remember

Rarity Restrictions: Cards with one-star rarity or higher can’t use Cosmetic Flair, but they can still use Battle Flair.
Duplicate Cards Are Used Up: The extra cards you spend on Flair are removed from your collection, so you can’t use them in other decks.
Special Shop Tickets: You can also trade duplicate one-star cards and Shinedust for tickets to get special items in the shop.
