Destiny 2's Revenant episode mixes nostalgia and new content. While Act 1 is short, Acts 2 and 3 promise thrilling new missions and activities.
Destiny 2's latest episode, Revenant has carved its niche in the game's world with a mix of nostalgia and new content, but the players are eagerly waiting for the next installments. Revenant Act 1 brought new story missions, and the intense Onslaught maps along with the stasis grenade launcher, which is super cool for battling the new wave of enemies. Fan favourites such as Eido and Crow have been back, but one thing that might have stunned everyone was the brevity of Act 1, finishing all the content within over an hour. Now, one question on everyone's mind in the community: when do Revenant Act 2 and 3 arrive?
Revenant Act 2
Revenant Act 2 has a release date of November 19, 2024, one month after the release of Act 1. The storyline will explore Crow's changing conflict with Fikrul, who threatened to challenge the Guardians with an undead army he's raised on Scorn. While Bungie hasn't confirmed, leaks and game teases suggest that a new activity, Tombs of Elders, will get featured. It may also be a re imagined take on Destiny 1's Prison of Elders.
Revenant Act 3
If that's still a bit too far off, Revenant Act 3 is on January 7, 2025. While the details of Act 3 are still unclear, fans hope this should come together with a sufficient ending for the Revenant saga. Having just wrapped up an exotic mission in Echoes Act 3 Whispers have been spreading that Bungie would repeat the same for another high-risk adventure. Coming back to another exotic mission might be just what Destiny 2 needs to lead the charge at the start of the new year.

Community Reaction
The fact that Revenant Act 1 was quite short and elicited some mixed reactions throughout the community. Some players feel like the content, though engaging, was too short, considering one fan remarked, "It feels like a teaser, not a full act." Others were more optimistic but hope to see what's next: "Act 1 gave us a good start, and Act 2 and 3 will hopefully flesh out the storyline," said another Reddit Guardian.
While Revenant Act 1 leaves the players hollering for more, the remaining Acts will continue to make good those story lines and challenge tests. Be it the eagerly anticipated return of Prison of Elders or the exotic mission that promises so much, fans won't have long to wait to find out what happens. November 19th is just around the corner, and the Guardians are ready.
