Asphalt Legends UNITE: Roadmap Unveils New Modes, QoL Updates, and Stunning Chicago Track

The most famous mobile racing game Asphalt released its first roadmap video for its cross-platform racing game from the series called  Asphalt Legends UNITE released on its YouTube channel. The main aim of the update was to improve the Quality of Life (QoL) update for its Nintendo Switch and PlayStation users. along with the QoL updates they have revealed two new game modes for the payers with a new race track set in Chicago.

Team Race Mode Explained

The race is between two teams each with 4 racers. The points are totaled at the end of the race after the last racer crosses the finish lines, post which the points of all the racers are combined and displayed at the end. The team with the highest points wins the race and rewards are distributed accordingly.

Boss Mode Explained

This mode is for all the single players, where they engage in the race with AI-controlled NPC racers but the added feature bonus unlike regular races with NPC in this game mode when the player car enters within a certain radius of the NPC car the NPC goes into frenzy mode where it targets the payer in taking it down rather completing the race thus making the race a bit hard for the players. The game developers hope to make the single-player races a bit more entertaining and challenging for the players.

Improving Private Lobbies

The developers have added that the game will have better private lobby servers for players to enjoy seamless and interruption-free gaming sessions with friends. They have introduced a slipstream race mode where the player has the freedom to personalize the races and game modes based on their liking.

Improving QoL, MP Rewards & Ranking System

Further into the road map video the company mentioned that the game has been improved to give the player a better gaming experience and that the mp rewards have been streamlined and made better achievable.

Added Benefits for Nintendo Switch Players

Similarly to Mobile players now Switch players can enjoy reaping benefits extra multipliers and other in-game features by watching ads. These ads are limited and refreshed after a certain amount of time after watching them and getting the rewards.

The Roadmap video ends with a gameplay race on their new race track ‘Chicago’. The map looks gorgeous and visually stunning for the players to race on and it was explained that the weather of the city has been replicated for the track and changes randomly and dynamically.
