Valve Software, the company behind video game distribution service Steam has just announced a new sale festival. This new event is called “The Indian Harvest Festival” and the announcement aligns with several harvest festivals in the country. These festivals include Baisakhi, Bihu, Vishu, Poila Boishakh, Puthandu, and Ugadi. According to the festival page, NODWIN Gaming has curated the list of games to highlight titles from Indian publishers and game developers. As part of the event to celebrate made-in-India games, Steam is also offering discounts on past, present, and upcoming game collections. Steam The Indian Harvest Festival sale announced; details
Besides a healthy list of games, Steam also shared a 1 minute and 48 seconds long trailer for the festival. NODWIN has also created a dedicated website as part of this sale to offer some new options to game developers and influences. Game developers or gamers can head to the website to submit a game to be part of the festival. Besides, video game influencers can also fill in a form to get in touch with the team to support the festival.
The website also highlights four sections including “Blast from the Past”, “Present Games”, “Upcoming Games”, and “Demos”. This means Steam users can find dedicated lists of old titles, relatively recent titles as well as upcoming games. Besides, one can also download Demos of upcoming games to offer feedback to gamer developers. The “Blast from the Past” section includes games like Cubots The Origins, Asura: Vengeance Edition, and God Robot. It continues with Lovely Planet, Lovely Planet 2: April Skies, Rainswept, Alter Army, Rubek, The Last Train Definitive Edition, and Super Lovely Planet.
Present Games list includes Raji: An Ancient Epic, Forgotten Fields, and The Indifferent Wonder of an Edible Place. We also saw In My Shadow, Mystic Pillars, Gamedev Beatdown, Miners Mettle, and Two Leaves and a Bud - Tea Gardens Simulator. Moving on, the list of future titles includes Venba, Missing - The Complete Saga, Mumbai Gullies, and Meteora. The festival page also showcased The Palace on the Hill, Bot Rods, Brocula, Heroes Must Diee, and MUKTI in the list. Games that offer “Free to Play” demos include Tea Garden Simulator, Forgotten Fields, Raji: An Ancient Epic, Unrest, In My Shadow, Heroes must Diee, and Puzzle Dazzle.
