Krafton is calling this new version, PUBG Mobile India and it will be specially crafted for the Indian market. The company hopes to rectify all the issues with this new version to escape the ban. PUBG Mobile India relaunch, past in-game data details
Krafton and PUBG Corp have already shared some information on the changes that players can expect. This includes changing the setting to a virtual simulation training ground, green color instead of red while taking damage, and more. The new version will also ensure that all in-game characters are clothed in the beginning, re-enforced data security and audit measures, and more. PUBG Corp will also introduce multiple new characters specific to the game along with restrictions on the game time.
Now, some latest information regarding the game has surfaced on the Instagram account of Memphiz, a Liquipedia Editor. Over the last two days, Memphiz has outlined that PUBG Corp is transferring the old data of Indian players to the PUBG Mobile India version. Some players saw an in-game message stating “This player you are viewing has migrated to PUBG Mobile India”. As per the posts, it looks like the Indian version will retain the skins and in-game purchases from the global version.
In addition, a recent report also noted that the developer added an “Account Transfer” section in the “Basic” tab in the game Settings. It is unclear if this transfer option is meant for PUBG Mobile India or something else. We can see the videos outlining both these changes on the Instagram account. However, we could not confirm this change from our end.
