Technology giant Nvidia has just announced details regarding its latest GPU lineup, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 series. It also shared details regarding the availability and pricing of the GPU for the Indian market. The good news here is that the first member of the RTX 3060 series, 3060 Ti is set to go on sale starting tomorrow, on December 2. Unlike the RTX 3070, RTX 3080, and RTX 3090, both the founders' edition as well as partner cards are landing tomorrow. Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 series GPUs launched, details
According to the announcement, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 series launch will bring the RTX 3060 Ti. The company has priced the RTX 3060 Ti at a starting price of Rs 35,900. In addition, the company also claims that the 3060 Ti is faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER. For some context, the 2080 SUPER is currently priced at Rs 65,500 in the market. Like the rest of the RTX 3000 series, the 3060 Ti comes with features like ray tracing, DLSS, Nvidia Reflex, and Nvidia Broadcast. Matt Wuebbling, the VP of Global GeForce marketing at Nvidia also issued a statement as part of the launch.
Wuebbling stated, “We’re entering a massive holiday season with ray-traced effects coming to Cyberpunk 2077, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Watch Dogs: Legion, and more.” He also added, “There’s no better way for gamers to enjoy cutting-edge ray-traced games or powering through creative and productivity workflows than with the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, and the rest of the RTX 30 Series.” Like the rest of the GeForce lineup, the latest entry comes with support for GeForce Experience features. As mentioned above, partner GPU cards including stock as well as factory-overclocked cards will also be available on sale. Partners like Asus, Colorful, EVGA, Galaxy, Gigabyte, Innovision 3D, MSI, PNY, Zotac, Gainward, Palit will be ready with their offerings. The company also stated that it is offering a one-year Nvidia GeForce NOW subscription for free with the RTX 3060 Ti cards (and pre-built systems) “for a limited time” in select countries.
