ESPL 2021 Level 3 Day 5: Mumbai Marshals jumps to 2nd place on the leader-board

Here are the overall standings of all the teams after the conclusion of Level 3 Day 5 matches. Let's find out where the teams stand as Level 3 nears its conclusion.
Day 5 of ESports Premier League 2021 Level 3 completed with team Chennai Celestial continuing its losing streak after failing to claim a map victory. Rajasthan Reapers completely dominated over Delhi Dukes. Mumbai Marshals advanced to the 2nd position on the Leaderboard.
A total of 4 matches or 20 maps were played today in a Bo5 format in clash squad mode. Aside from one game being a wash-up, the other 3 games were competitive with all teams putting up a respectable fight and not giving up to the end.
ESPL 2021 is a franchise-based league announced by India Today Gaming featuring a massive prize pool of Rs 25,00,000 distributed among the top 8 teams with the winner taking home a sweet Rs 12,00,000 prize in the grand finals scheduled on 29th August 2021. With all the matches concluded for the day, let’s have a look at the points table and how well every team performed.
Level 3 Day 5 Results
Match 1 of the day was played between Mumbai Marshals and Punjab Paladins. Excluding just one match on map 3 of Bermuda, Mumbai Marshals completely won over Punjab Paladins. The second match (L3M14) was won by Hyderabad Hydras against Chennai Celestials by 5/1.
The third game was between the strongest teams of the previous day, Bangalore Ballistics and Kolkata Kaijus. Kolkata Kaijus won the match with a 3-2 score, but it wasn’t an easy fight. Team Hydras opened the match with 2 back-to-back maps. While Kolkata Kaijus looked out of place in the starting maps, the team quickly adjusted itself and claimed back-to-back 3 maps comfortably. The last match (L3M16) was played between Rajasthan Reapers and Delhi Dukes. Rajasthan Reapers won by 5/0.
