India’s first franchise-based Esports league, the Esports Premier League 2021 has started with Level 1 Group A Day 1 matches featuring a new set of teams who registered for the league.
ESPL 2021 is a multi-city franchise-based league announced by India Today Gaming. It will run for over three months. The ESPL 2021 comprises more than 700 online matches with more than 300 hours of gaming content. The tournament features 8 teams from each major city in India. These cities include Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Bangalore. Teams will compete against each other for a massive prize pool of Rs 25,00,000 to be distributed in the grand finals.
ESports Premier League 2021 format
Esports Premier League 2021 is divided into 4 phases. ESPL 2021 Phase 1 will feature 4 groups and each group will have a mix of amateur and semi-professional teams from across the country competing against each other to secure a spot in the top 22 teams from each group.
A total of 88 teams will qualify for phase 2 who will be joined with the 8 invited teams. These teams will compete in phase 2 and phase 3, to qualify for the final phase — Grand Finale. A total of 8 teams will qualify for the grand finals with each team representing one of the eight cities mentioned above.
A total of 12 matches will be played each day of the Level 1 Group A stage. All the matches will be played on the Bermuda map from which the top teams will qualify for the next stage. Here is the schedule of all the matches to be played in the Group A stage.

How and where to watch ESPL 2021 Qualifying stage matches
ESPL 2021 qualifying stage matches will be live-streamed daily so players and fans can watch their favorite teams compete in the league. You can watch the live stream for each match in six languages including Hindi, English, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Bengali.
