We all know about the format of BGMS 2024. We've seen teams playing with an aggressive mindset in the past three days. The opening week has been ended, and the bottom six teams that have been left with are Godlike, Limra, Team Zero, Fs Esports, Gujarat Tigers, and Vikings. Yesterday, Nodwin initiated audience voting for the two teams that would be qualified for the coming league stages, which ended at 9:00 AM this morning.
Now, Nodwin has finally announced the exit poll where we can see Team Zero getting the highest percentage of votes, which are 31.64%, and the second team that is qualified is Godlike with 25.58% votes. For the rest four teams, Gujarat Tigers got 21.45% votes, Limra with 19.08% votes, Fs Esports with 1.49% votes, and Vikings with 0.76% votes.
The shocking fact in all this is that a super-aggressive team like Gujarat Tigers is eliminated from the tournament in the opening week. Although Godlike was facing great backlash even after the addition of Punk in the team, Godlike management has decided to use Punk as an IGL in the coming matches. On the other side, Team Limra, who were playing really well in BGIS, has suddenly faced backlash in the opening week, which was not expected by the community.
We can see the underdog team, Sarkar, which is sponsored by OneBlade, showing an impressive performance, securing the second position in the points table after the opening week. However, we wish for a better performance from Team Zero and Godlike in the coming rounds. After the league stages, the top four teams will be qualified for the Finals, and the remaining 16 teams will compete in the playoffs.
The playoffs will conclude with 12 teams advancing to the finals, and the bottom four teams will be eliminated.
