Apple has just shared a new announcement about its video game subscription service Apple Arcade. As per this new update, the company has just added “more than 30” titles to the service. The company also announced two new categories in the catalog including “Timeless Classics”, and “App Store Greats”. These new categories outlined the bulk of new games that have arrived as part of this new update. Besides these, Apple Arcade also got new “Arcade Originals” which pushes the total number of titles to about 180. Apple Arcade update brings new games to the service
The company has rolled out NBA 2K21 Arcade Edition as the new “exclusive Arcade Original” title in the new update. Other Original titles include Star Trek: Legends, The Oregon Trail, and Fantasian. Besides, the company also teased three upcoming titles for the service including Legends of Kingdom Rush, Frenzic Overtime, and Leo’s Fortune. Matt Fischer, the Vice President for App Store at Apple also issued a statement as part of the update announcement. Fischer stated, “Today we’re launching our biggest expansion since the service debuted, now offering more than 180 great games that include new Arcade Originals, Timeless Classics, and App Store Greats.”
Apple Arcade Originals list also includes SongPop Party, Simon’s Cat: Story Time, and Cut the Rope Remastered. Looking at the Timeless Classics category, we get Really Bad Chess, Sudoku Simple, and Backgammon. It also includes Tiny Crossword and Solitaire. Moving to the App Store Greats, we get, Monument Valley, Mini Metro, Threes!, Fruit Ninja Classic, and Chameleon Run.
