Valve Software, the company behind the popular video game distribution service, Steam has just shared its “Best of 2020” list. This list includes data on multiple different categories including the top sellers, new releases, top VR games, and more. It also includes top games that offered early access, the most played games in 2020, and top games with controller support. This list is part of the annual tradition that Steam follows to offer some insight into the usage stages of the platform. Steam Best of 2020 list includes some of the most notable games, details

First up, let’s talk about the top sellers for 2020 on Steam. Valve listed the top 100 video game titles with the best sale numbers from January 1 to December 18, 2020. The platform considered the total revenue games earned from the copies to in-game purchases, DLCs, and more. This list includes several familiar titles including GTA V, CS: GO, and Dota 2, and many new releases. The newer titles include Cyberpunk 2077, DOOM Eternal, Fall Guys, and more. Moving to the top releases of 2020, we saw Cyberpunk 2077, Horizon Zero Dawn, Half-Life Alyx, and Marvel Avengers. It also includes DOOM Eternal, Fall Guys, Borderlands 3, Death Stranding, FIFA 21, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and more.
